The room, over which the specialists worked, was slightly less than stated, because the customers asked not to touch the bathroom and laundry. All the space, except left unchanged, was divided into zones. From the living room they made a full bedroom, and the kitchen and the reception room were combined.

Color and light

The choice of colors was limited to the available details. Already was a dark brown tile, white bedroom furniture and laminate, also a light shade. The tile was laid in the kitchen and the corridor. Under it were selected and wallpaper with an interesting drawing.

The subdued and relaxing atmosphere is created by dark walls and, in contrast, specially selected milky-white furniture as it moves apart the space, visually expanding a small room.

Furniture

Customers have already looked at the headset for themselves in the bedroom, this issue was not raised before the designers, but as for the cabinet furniture, everything was designed and executed according to the individual order: kitchen, cabinets and a bar counter.

Particular attention is paid to the dining table, which, if necessary, is easily transformed into a coffee table.

What techniques did you use to visually increase it?

1. The main element used in this case is light furniture, which together with other details (doors, skirting boards) visually expands the space of the room.

2. Another method is to create a single style that blurs the boundaries between rooms, which allows you to perceive the whole apartment as a whole. The general impression is supported by a shade of walls, floor, furniture.

3. If you make the cabinets built-in, then you create a feeling of more free space around. This also plays an important role when nothing is hanging over you, as is usually done.

4. Functionally allocated zones, in accordance with their purpose, also serve the stated purpose. For example, the kitchen determines where the food is prepared, and clearly the place for the reception of guests is evident, all this is visually and functionally clearly defined.
