Cubic houses. rotterdam, netherlands

This is a whole street square on all sides of the buildings, rotated by 45 degrees and set by one of the corners on the usual one-story building. They look incredibly funny. This architectural experiment was invented by a Dane Pit Blom. He wanted to have kindergartens, shops, schools and cafes in the lower floors of this street, and there would be living rooms in the cubes.

The cube itself is three-story: at the bottom there is a living room with windows on the asphalt, on the second level there are bedrooms and bathrooms, and on the third floor there is a small pyramidal room that can be adapted for a solarium, children's, mini-observatory or winter garden.
