Beauty is, in essence, photographed by capturing the moment of time and freezing it. Singaporean photographer Phong Chi Wei, however, uses the photo to show the flow of time. In his work, entitled "Time is a Dimension", the photographer does not use the typical trick of a long exposure, he approached the question from the other side.
For his project, Phong Chi Wei makes different photos of the same place and joins in one, with clear lines the edges of each frame. The creation of each collage of the photographer takes from 2 to 4 hours of shooting. Fong mainly works either in the dawn or in the sunset, as the colors are most diverse at this time.
Each collage is a few hours of life in one place, sealed in one photo. An amazingly creative approach to the seemingly already familiar time lapse and long exposure. Thanks to such resourceful people, we love creativity and its endless development and variations.Photogallery Total | 10 pictures
