But in the near future, everything can change.

Combining the style of the past with the technology of the future, LG Electronics announced a new flagship smartphone with a curved display LG G Flex. About a month before, LG's rival, Samsung Electronics, introduced the Galaxy Round to the public, which it called the "first" smartphone in the world with a curved display. " Two devices look very different.

The flagship from Samsung is curved around the vertical axis, like a spoon for shoes. And LG G Flex has a more pronounced bend, but around the horizontal axis, like a banana. These two devices show how designers focus on ergonomics and the uniqueness of their offspring. The advertisers of South Korea presented the Galaxy Round as convenient, as it coincides with the natural curve of the hand. However, the concave shape of the LG G Flex resembles the screens of some High-End TVs, which provides wider viewing angles when viewing a video.

Also LG draws attention to the fact that the curvature of the arc of the smartphone is optimized for the average person, and thus improves the quality of sound with voice calls. In addition, the company stressed one more plus - "the phone is well in the back pocket of jeans". Just do not try to sit on them. Neither G Flex nor the Galaxy Round have a flexible display. But, according to analysts, the introduction of this innovation is not far off. LG said that G Flex will be available in South Korea next month. Then they will be sold in other countries.
