At the recent event in France: "Paris Motor Show", the company Peugeot demonstrated its latest development in the supercar class. Body Peugeot Onyx is made of composite super-strong and light materials, and under the hood is placed hybrid powerplant. The total weight of the concept is about 1100 kg. The supercar is equipped with 20-inch wheels with low-profile rubber. Concerning power plant, here the company Peugeot especially tried, it is based on an eight-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 3.7 liters. The total capacity of the concept car is about 680 hp. Transmission of power to the rear wheels is via a 6-speed sequential gearbox. Construction of cars is thought out so that in the case there were no joints and seams that gives it additional strength and safety. The car interior is executed in a futuristic style, the front panel is made of felt and contains elements consisting of high-quality glass. On the release of the supercar in mass production Peugeot does not say anything yet, but we can say with certainty that a serial sports model can be built on the basis of Peugeot Onyx in the near future.
