And how do you think the flashlight turns on and off, after all? There are no external switches? Everything is very simple. When the paper is curled into the cylinder, the segment where the LED is attached is bent into the inside of the sheet of paper and a power short occurs inside the segment. Therefore, in order to turn on the flashlight, it is enough to just roll the paper, and to turn it off, straighten it again.
