The cozy little house, about which our article tells, belongs to the category of compact structures, often criticized for their alleged inadequacy for family life. The area of ​​most of them does not exceed 30 m2. However, we know that many people manage to arrange their life even in a tiny hut, and millions of families around the world are prepared to tolerate some inconveniences, but at the same time to live in a small, but their own home.

Most often you hear about small houses, which are inhabited by the so-called nuclear families, that is, families consisting of spouses or one spouse and underage children. Situations when representatives of several generations are huddled in a compact area are quite rare. However, there are such examples, and with one of them we would like to introduce you.

On the upper photo, Candice Dinh, who moved to a rural town around Seattle 14 years ago, was built and built a small house for herself and her mother Baoin (you can also see it in the photo). In China, as in many other Asian countries, the residence of adult children in conjunction with elderly parents is not considered something out of the ordinary.

A tiny house built by Dinh's hands allowed her to get rid of the need to rent an apartment and at the same time take care of her elderly mother. Here's what she says about her own project:

"First of all, I thought that I like to knit and I really love my cat. So I needed a place where I could knit and hold animals. I just collected together everything that was dear to me, which made me happy. This, in particular, a folding roof window, with the acquisition of which actually began construction of the house. He was followed by a stove and a projection screen ... "

Among the most interesting components of the house - a fenced balcony area, where the beloved cat mistress can spend time in the fresh air. 

Sleeping place Baoyin is located at the mezzanine level, just under the mansard window, through which you can admire the stars. Candace herself sleeps in a small room next to the kitchen. She says that her mother is not yet delighted with their little house, but gradually gets used to and even misses him during visits to relatives living in China.

It is interesting that even older people begin to discover that living in tiny houses has its advantages. Din retells what her mother said about it:

"The main advantage of a small house in front of a large one lies in its mobility first. In addition, it takes up less space on earth. And we believe that a man, instead of building more and more, should think about preserving nature and try to take from her only what is necessary.
