The design of a small apartment, proposed by the architect Lina Lagerström, surprises with its simplicity and at the same time functionality.
Undoubtedly Paris is the most expensive real estate market in the world, here is the most premium space. We represent the idea for those who own a small apartment. This is a simple and practical project implemented in the premises of the former factory attic.
Suppose you have an apartment at your disposal, one wall of which is represented by a number of windows. You need two bedrooms, a bathroom, an open living room combined with a dining area, a work area and plenty of storage space.
Six incredibly huge Parisian windows fill the space of the room with light. Both bedrooms occupy one end of the apartment, and in the opposite part there is a dressing room and a bathroom.
The central space of the apartment is given to the living room with a black wall. It is combined with the doors of kitchen cabinets. This design brings a bit of depth and drama to the neutral design of the entire room.
The long inner wall from floor to ceiling is closed with bookshelves and shelves. Some of them are open, others are hidden behind flat panels without handles.
Along the floor and under the windows themselves are stretched storage cases, but they can be used as seats. The table with additional extendable tops is hidden in a corner by the window, they can be used if necessary.
The children's room is quite tiny, but it has two windows. It is more like a small pantry. The parents' room is illuminated by a window embedded in the partition separating the bedroom from the living area. These windows visually increase the size of both rooms.
The bathroom is covered with white glossy tiles. Artificial lighting is reflected in the mirror, located along the entire length of the wall, and the objects in it seem more than they really are.
This design project is fairly simple to implement. Do you agree?
