Unusual exterior of the house

Have you seen the unusual exterior of a house that seems to float above the ground? Not so long ago the design studio MIMA Housing created something similar.

"Soaring" in the air house

The design studio is aimed at performing minimalistic exteriors using mirrors and light. In this case, the designers decided to lay the foundation of the building with a mirror to create the floating effect.

The house was located in a small forest

The designers were inspired by the ideas and works of Donald Judd, John McCracken and Robert Morris and created an extraordinary sculptural house with a comfortable atmosphere.

According to designers, this house was assembled in a factory and only after transported to its proper place.

In addition, it became known that the house is available in two sizes: MIMA Light 9 meters long and MIMA Light Plus 12 meters long.

On both sides of the house there are large, almost all the walls, windows and an entrance door on the right side of the room. Moreover, it is also mirror-free from the outside, which means that you can not worry about privacy.

The interior of the house is entirely made of wood, without any bright details. However, the owners can always equip it to their liking.
