Aqua Vista is a collection of boutique hotels, covering all types of travelers, adapting to the needs and needs of everyone.
In order to fully appreciate the experience of living in this complex, I was given the opportunity to spend one night at Adamant Suites, and another in Above Blue.
The peculiarity of Adamant Suites is the very concept of the hotel: "Six amazing, uniquely designed suites, each drawing inspiration from various precious stones and paying tribute to the features of the island - a view of the volcano." The hull is located on a rocky slope partially isolated from the busy night life of Fira's summer capital, the capital of Santorini, but close enough (10-15 minutes walk) located to all major tourist attractions cities. I must admit that the location of the hotel is really excellent, and breakfast on the terrace of the hotel with a view of Caldera is truly magnificent!
We were accommodated in the Opal Suite, a generously sized apartment with a balcony and a jacuzzi on the terrace. The interior design reflects the good taste and ability to qualitatively emphasize the beauty of the adjacent landscape, which can be enjoyed from any corner of the room. I was especially keen on Gustav Klimt's paintings. The service was impeccable, from check-in, to departure, although a short stay did not allow me to completely enjoy the service provided by the hotel, I noticed a wide range of services that was impressive.
A picturesque 30 minute walk (or 10 minutes drive) from Fira led us to the amazing village of Imerovigli, where Above Blue Suites was located. This part of the Aqua Vista hotels was conceived as a block of ten individually designed apartments, each in its own color scheme.
The position of the hotel offers a high level of privacy and tranquility (even in the high season, as we were told), which makes it a good choice if you are looking for something refined, but still want to enjoy tranquility and privacy. During our stay there we also visited one of the two main cities of Santorini Oia, enjoy the sunset in Fira and climb the rock of Skaros, so I also wanted to recommend Above Blue for those who like active holidays.
Compared with the large and luxurious apartment in Adamant, Lagoon suite in Above Blue was more convenient and close to me, so I probably stayed a little more. Naturally, this is a subjective opinion and it is likely that many others here will not like it as much as me. Enormous bathroom with Jacuzzi, terrace, also of impressive size, where it is nice to spend candlelit nights in a romantic setting and with a stunning sea view.
The staff was very kind (as expected after the previous experience) and is welcome, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they know the history of the island and subtly present it to visitors.
Although I tend to notice the imperfection of the strangest detail, my short experience of coming to Aqua Vista was memorable. I appreciated the uniqueness of each design of the premises and the overall feeling of complete confidentiality. In the end, I definitely recommend that you order in one of these two hotels (or both at once, if you are rich enough and have this opportunity), those who love exquisite luxury, colorful landscapes and luxurious design and architecture.
