Germany has always been famous for its love of entertainment and entertainment, including parks. This time our attention was attracted by an unusual attraction: the so-called "Pedestrian" roller coaster, set in Duisburg. They are called "Crouching Tiger and Turtle, Magic Mountain", which seems a little strange, from the name of the East. The sculptors Ulrich Gent and Heike Muttor explained this decision as follows: the roller coaster is very fast, they can be compared to a tiger. But for this reason a person moves slowly, like a turtle.

The creation of the attraction took only 8 weeks. Remarkably, the eleven-meter construction is made of steel and zinc alloy, which is symbolic: in place of the park, there used to be a zinc deposit, and in the city at one time there was a steel producer concern (Krupp Mannesmann).

From a long distance, it may seem that this short route can easily be completely covered, but it is not. "The dead loop" is not designed for a pedestrian passage technically, and therefore the safety rules prohibit attempts. Of course, this inflames the excitement among visitors, especially sports.

The attraction is considered to be a sculpture. In addition, for a short time of its existence, this a work of art won the love of children.

"Crouching Tiger and Turtle" is part of the urban project Duisburg "Cultural Capital". From the height of the slides it is suggested to look at the lands of Ruhr in a new way, to admire the landscapes.

Such an original building cost the municipal authorities more than one and a half million euros. The question "Did the attraction of this money cost?" Disappears immediately, as a picture of a never-ending queue of people wishing to get on the hills.
