In August 2013, the festival Monterey Car Week was held in California. As part of the event, the Italian company Laraki introduced the concept of hypercar Laraki Epitome. The company Laraki is engaged in the construction of highly comfortable yachts and boats, but not so long ago there was an automobile division engaged in cars - Laraki Motors.
Several years ago they demonstrated their first product - a supercar, a Fulgura coupe. In California they arrived with the third concept of Epitome. Presented by the cessation Abdeslam Laraki, designer of the model and founder of the Italian company.
In the bodywork used heavy-duty carbon fibers, some parts of the car such as the chassis and the improved 7-liter V8 engine, were borrowed from the Corvette C6. As a result of some modifications and modifications, it was possible to get an impressive 1200 hp. Engineers did not stop there, and they decided to make a truly unique hypercar.
The car is equipped with two gas tanks. In the first tank the usual fuel is poured, and in the second one 110th gasoline. In the cabin there is a button, when you press it, high-octane fuel is supplied to the engine, the capacity of the concept instantly increases to an impressive 1750 hp. With such high technical characteristics, the weight of the car is only 1180 kg.
Until now, the dynamic characteristics and other details of the concept remain secret. In 2015, Laraki Motors plans to release a very limited series (9 pieces) of the Epitome Concept, worth $ 2 million per copy.
