A task: without affecting the layout, visually expand the space, make it light and breathable, fit a musical instrument into the interior, use a new design option, and not already bored.
The client - a young teacher of English, adored the Finnish epic, and her favorite colors were purple, green and white. The designer who dealt with the design of her apartment, was born an interesting idea - to create a project with a Finnish tinge. We coordinated the project with the customer and started to work!
Part of the furniture designers bought at IKEA, and some made to order. The furniture had to be built in, simple in shape. To make the house more spacious, the masters used mirrors and glossy surfaces. As a base color, they took pure white, adding it to the lilac and playing a little green. Bright uncomplicated accents gave the individuality to the interior.
According to an individual project, a countertop made of artificial stone was made and installed above the windowsill. The synthesizer fits perfectly into it, and in the resulting niche between the table and the window there is room for plants. It turned out a cozy workplace.
The traditional chandelier was replaced with built-in spotlights, making the lighting graphic and air. In the white relief ceiling, a hidden illumination was mounted. The sofa and a modest floor lamp were also bought at IKEA, then the furniture was lined with eco-leather already on its own.
And finally - the highlight of the whole project. On white brick walls, lines were written in Finnish from the epic Kalevala.
Even to visually increase the space of the tiny kitchen of one game, the color turned out to be small, so the wall was pasted with a dynamic poster with a view of the night city illuminated by countless lights, and secret lights were placed under the hinged cupboard cupboards. In general, the oven, a compact dishwasher and soft bar stools fit perfectly here.
