What task did the client give you during the first conversation?

Just as an artist on a blank paper paints a work of art, we were given the task to decorate the white sheet of the apartment. Add color, detail, give it character. But at the same time to work subtly and delicately, making out the two main rooms. The kitchen had to take on the role of a multifunctional room. In the end, there was a bar, and a place for rest and a study. From the bedroom was expected a sense of peace and ease.

Was there a need to redraw?

No, it was necessary to act within the available space. This seemed interesting.

Apparently, you managed to turn mountains. What was done in the end?

1. We started with the main - with color. We chose the gamut of nature, assigning priority to several shades. Particular attention was paid to the tiled apron and a fragment of the wall at the dining table. The decorator should be able to give the house a unique character. It is very important. But, most importantly, do not overdo it, ask the right direction. The tile was preferred. It feels like she was painted by hand. Each has a unique pattern. A variety of colors added some ethnic note to the modern interior.3. Using only natural materials made it possible to create an easy and lively atmosphere. Wood, cotton, silk, leather, flax, nickel - all this forms the effect of high cost and nobility.4. The furniture was made to order. We played a little with the texture and color and gave the performers ready drawings and sketches. This includes a comfortable sofa that uses every centimeter of the square in the corner, a curbstone and a modest little table on wheels. The added elements set the main tone. Handles made of sea shells, airy perfectly white curtains, which even from a small breeze blow smoothly.

How did the host react when he saw the result?
