We are used to the uniqueness of every private house in Amsterdam, but this frame house is no exception. The house is designed by a creative group Egeon Architects. The family villa is located on the island of Rieteiland-Oost, IJburg and offers a separation of space and working and everyday. The villa is divided into three main zones: on the ground floor there is an open living room, on the second floor there are private rooms and in the uppermost - the third, there is an office space.
According to the architects, the house was built with knowledge of weather variability, so there are internal insulated heating in the house, floor heating, natural ventilation, well insulated walls, floor and roof, and special heat-resistant glasses were installed. Due to the extensive use of wood, the interior looks pretty friendly and attractive, and large glass only fill the room with warmth and light. The living room in the house is the most pleasant place, constantly illuminated by light and with stunning views of the lake.
This private residence will suit, perhaps, any friendly family of workaholics.Photogallery Total | 16 pictures
