Few places in the kitchen? This is not a verdict! Especially in the 21st century! We present you one of the examples of design of a kitchen of a very small size.
IDEA 1
U-shaped layout
It is believed that this option is suitable only for spacious rooms. A kitchen of 7 m is more likely associated with a linear or angular arrangement of furniture. The successful arrangement of the door made it possible to depart from the rules. A capacious (but shallow) cabinet occupied a "blind" zone in front of the door leaf. Thanks to the continuous n-shaped table top, not only the "dining table" appeared in the kitchen, but also a large working surface.
IDEA 2
Bar Stools + Rack
A narrow table by the wall is a find for a small kitchen. But the usual chairs around him severely spoil all the "ergonomics." After all, they need a standard table, and it's much lower than kitchen furniture.
Designers offer to use the bar countertop, and next to it to put bar stools. By the way, they are always more compact than usual ones. Ideally, if the upholstery of the bar stool is made of leather or leatherette (it is easier to care than textile).
IDEA 3
Bright color
There is a popular misconception that "all beige" expands the space. And saturated colors are appropriate only in large rooms - they say, the kitchen interior of 7 sq. M turquoise will not decorate. As we can see, this kitchen was beige, and after adding a bright color it did not become less. Turquoise replenishes the lack of vitamins: when there are few sunny days, and the light day is short, juicy colors help fight the autumn-winter depression.
IDEA 4
Underground
Instead of a leg in the corner of the bar counter, designers used one more kitchen cabinet (the drawers are pulled sideways). Symmetrically on the other side is a rack, the shelves of which form niches for the coffee maker, utensils and cookbooks.
IDEA 5
Shelves for small things
Another interesting finding is to arrange several rows of shallow shelves along the perimeter of the working surface. On them you can put not only spices or glasses, but also decorative plates, vases or souvenirs. A great way to decorate the kitchen!
