Small village in Wiltshire, is famous for its attractiveness and tranquility. Manor House Hotel in the village was built in the 14th century. It has 48 rooms and 365 acres (1.5 km 2) gardens. The village flourished during the fifteenth century, when it was owned by Millicent, the wife of Sir Stehen Duck, and later by Sir John Fastolf (1380-1459), Knight of Norfolk, who was an effective landowner for fifty years.
