Hyperpellet is a sensational project of an entire future transport network that can soon change the idea of ​​travel. Elon Mask, one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time, has created such projects as PayPal's electronic payment system, Tesla Motors, and the private space company SpaceX. The prototype of the first hyper-loop will be presented on August 12, 2013. However, even before the official presentation, some new details of this ambitious project became known.

As a means of delivering passengers, a hypertension has a number of advantages. Her work does not depend on the weather, capsules do not need a strict departure schedule, collisions are excluded, and accidents are minimized. Travel time is reduced even when compared to an airplane. Whether the pipe will be filled with air, something else or it will create a deep vacuum - until officially notified. However, the latter is much more likely. "On the hypertension, you will travel from San Francisco to Los Angeles in less than thirty minutes," said Elon Mask at the June All Things Digital conference. Its construction is expected along the existing expressways and railways.

A simple calculation shows that the average speed of movement will be more than 268 m / s. By the middle of the way, the capsule with passengers can accelerate almost to the speed of sound in the air, but from the tube itself, the air is likely to be removed to reduce resistance.

Another idea is that the hyper-loop can become a version of the Lofstrom loop, otherwise known as a trigger loop. Initially, the project was designed to bring cargoes to near-earth orbit. Loopstrom Loop, in fact, a vacuum tube that is several thousand kilometers long, which contains a rotor made of iron or other magnetic material. The rotor is separated from the shell by a magnetic suspension, and rotates around the loop at a speed much greater than the orbital velocity at the surface of the Earth (7.9 km / s, or 17700 mph). The speed of the rotor, developed in the scheme, is about 14 km / s (35,000 mph). The exact plan of the project is still in secret, let's hope that Elon Mask will show something really amazing at its official presentation.
