Mercedes SL GTR is a concept Mercedes Benz created specifically for the 21st century. Designed by Mark Hostler, this concept car aims to offer the driver a lot of the sensations obtained from driving. The design includes a chassis from a racing car, a modern sports suspension, ceramic brakes, racing tires and a 5.5-liter V8 engine from the Nissan GTR.

Cutting aerodynamic design in combination with the sharp style of Mercedes Benz creates a car with unique racing characteristics. The body structure was designed to emphasize the shrink wrap around the mechanical components, which helps cool the body. Mercedes Benz also boasts a proprietary radiator grille, a large rear spoiler, 5-spoke magnesium wheels, and a classic teardrop shaped racing car.
