Presented at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, HCD-14 Genesis is designed to demonstrate the future direction of design Hyundai rear all-wheel drive cars of premium class. For premium sports, the four-door coupe, the HCD-14 concept provides a rich choice of style, along with some interesting interactive technologies, such as three-dimensional tracking of navigation controls.
This technology allows the driver to give commands HCD-14 Genesis, not being distracted from the road. Selecting the desired function with the eyes, you can use the buttons on the steering wheel or gestures to perform a specific task. The HCD-14 Genesis uses an already award-winning engine Hyundai Tau® V8 with a working volume of 5 liters, a system of direct fuel injection and a double system of continuous change of the phases of the gas distribution (D-CVVT).
And more from innovations: the concept uses an optical recognition system that identifies the driver and gives the command to start the engine, and the gears of the 8-speed automatic box are selected using the steering wheel paddles. Genesis boasts 429 lc and 510 Nm of torque.
