A small white apartment is full of comfort

A small white apartment in Rome became a real test for designers. After all, they were required to create an interior that combines features of a strict modern style and characteristic signs of "shabby chic". The result of the efforts of specialists is an ergonomic space thought out to trifles, storing the warm atmosphere of an English country house.

The style of "village modern"

The effect of rubbing is provided mainly by covering the walls of the walls of the living room with horizontal wooden panels painted in white. Designers left vertical surfaces as free as possible, counting on the fact that they will create a sensation of some dustiness and easy dilapidation. The image is complemented by a "havana" sofa.

The kitchen is lit by LED lights, and above the dining table are two original wire chandeliers. They create a contrast with the ceramic containers on the table in a rustic style.

The laconic kitchen shines with freshness and beckons. Unexpected elements, such as a wall clock, standing for some reason on the floor, fill its interior with a cozy home.

Light space

A small corridor seems a bit wider than it really is, due to the white walls and the wooden floor. The built-in wardrobe is almost invisible.

A vintage bedroom looks like a charming room in a doll house. The muted light escapes through the fabric of the lampshades, a texture that resembles either a rough paper, or a linen cloth. Bed linen with a classic floral pattern and loose blue curtains contribute to the appearance of the effect of antiquity. In this case, the backlit mirror, created specifically for this project, looks very modern.

It is interesting that in this small apartment there are two bathrooms, separated by a shower stall, which can be accessed from both sides. A textured surface of one of the walls resembles a scattering of snow-white confetti.

Involuntarily the conclusion arises that the more compact the space, the more imagination has to be manifested in its design. We are convinced of this by the numerous examples of projects that amaze the diversity of ideas and individuality. And the simplicity and chic, often inherent in these interiors, make them simply unforgettable.
