The kitchen of astrophysicists became the place where Juliette Sitnikova was able to conceive a game in designer chess: black against white, and light against dark. The cells of the dining table are formed by different wooden rocks, for which the marquetry technique was used. In this family everyone is happy to find sources of new knowledge.

The main stimulus of every day, which Konstantin Aleksandrovich loves so much, is the phrase "we open the world for ourselves daily." In addition, his wife Alexandra Yurievna is a real assistant in experiments with the owner of the house. And their daughters did well in the biological sciences and music.

Project developer

He is a member of the Union of Artists, a professional designer. In the role of the artist, she performed at 14 organized exhibitions. Together with Andrei Khromov, she opened her organization in 2005. The company "Libourne" reconstructs private interiors of the highest quality.

Before the meeting with the future heroes of the program Juliette experienced a slight excitement. Just work for astrophysicists! Agree that such a profession people do not often meet, but to also work for them to create an interior.

A family of parents with two girls reacted quite affably to the arrival of Juliette, but with slight apprehension. But the slightly tense situation completely disappeared after the first cup of tea and talk about the decorations.

New acquaintances had many common tastes. Both sides prefer the same colors and do not neglect the black color in the interior. The kitchen serves, in their opinion, not only the place of preparation or the canteen, but many more.

The designer was surprised by the number of desires of the heroes, namely, the fact that there were so few of them, such as to reduce the number of cabinets, drawers and exclude the TV.

The first instructions of Alexandra stated that the kitchen should be first and foremost incredibly beautiful, and the rest later.

The modern idea of ​​the functions of the kitchen is quite interesting. It has long been not a typical cluster of equipment and appliances, but has become more like a whole residential complex.

Juliette had to remodel a place that the early family used also as a dining room. The size of the area, the height of the ceilings and the proportions - all this contributed to the successful completion of the author's design goals for the design.

"Playing chess" is the name of this project, which causes the first thoughts about the board on which they play in this unpretentious game.

Modesty of coloring is based on a harmonious combination of black tones with dark gray, they are compared to the golden shades of koto wood and exquisite oak species.

Ornaments of the dining table contained secret banners, which must be presented to the inhabitants of the apartment. Its name is associated with an ideal room and a floor tile in black and white, as depicted paintings by Vermeer of Delft. But this is exactly what the designer did not want, but only based on such ideas.

The author wanted to use the lampshades to differentiate the territory of the space and add more energy, and also added terracotta armchairs in the form of a half circle.

The center of composition and decoration with a bright and expressive meaning - that's what makes the kitchen more comfortable and pleasant.

Dynamics and a modern kind of room the master managed to achieve by using a linear composition. She designed all the elements in parallel.

Often because of the huge closets in the kitchen there is not much room left, but the designer was able to hide them all behind the furniture facade. It consists of overall panels, in which all proportions look harmoniously and evenly.

Laying of the floor board takes place towards the window from the door. Juliette in such a way intensified the effect of the action.

The glass partition dividing the kitchen and the entrance hall allows the sun to penetrate the room.

The girl made a replacement block and increased the area of ​​the glazed surface. The frames are made in black.

Immediately after the entrance you will be greeted by a black wall. Juliette though made her an unexpected coloring, however, she removes, ostensibly, a glass partition.

With the help of a double-leaf partition, which the master ordered separately, you can draw a line between the dining room and the living room.

Koto and Wenge - African wood species, which served as materials for finishing the table and shop window. All was carried out under the individual order.

Specially, the volume of lampshades, which were also ordered separately, was increased. Thus, the room visually seems more.

And the usual elements of the kitchen, like chairs, have been replaced by chairs. Juliette so decided to focus on the dining area.
