Often the question arises, how to place in an apartment with a small area of everything you need, while not depriving the home of home comfort.
We offer to get acquainted with one of these projects, in which the authors managed to equip 43 square meters of cozy and functional housing for the mother and daughter.
Authors
The team, formed by two close people, aimed to create, as the name implies, the space for life - Space4life.
And, it does not matter with what room they work, whether it's a huge mansion, just an attic, or a small apartment. The main thing is to create a dwelling with comfortable conditions, in which the tenants will feel comfortable.
Space4life is a studio with a history of professional division of labor. A technically competent architect solves his problems, the designer in the drawings embodies the conceived, the stylistics and the selection of colors are performed by the decorator.
Not a single detail will be missed by the team, in which each specialist is in his place and has great experience.
Planning and tasks
The authors did not need any work on the redevelopment of the apartment. It was enough just to conduct a competent zoning of premises, and from a two-room apartment it turned into a three-room apartment.
Dividing one of the rooms with a low rack, the designers got a living room with a TV and a sofa in one part and a bedroom in the other. The children's room was equipped separately.
Style
When choosing the style of a certain concept was not, the main task was to create a functional and comfortable interior, in which it would be nice to live.
Color and light
As you know, an apartment intended for two women should be light. It was for this reason that the main emphasis was on light colors. The floor is covered with a whitewashed board. White ceiling, floor, skirting and doors practically erase the boundaries of the room.
In the living room wallpaper has a dark blue pattern, reminiscent of Gzhel painting. The center of the composition was fire-red chairs and a table. Pink and bright green colors, perfectly matched, predominate in the children's room.
Furniture
The biggest problem was the sofa in the living room. The space, limited from all sides, made special demands on him. It should not have been too wide, because on each side it was limited to cabinets.
In addition, he should not have been very deep, so that he had enough space before him. Another requirement that was presented to the sofa - narrow armrests, otherwise it would be inconvenient to accommodate several people.
Long searches were crowned with success, a sofa was purchased at an affordable price from the domestic manufacturer Kostroma-Mebel.
All the rest of the cabinet furniture was made to order on their own drawings. Cabinets on both sides of the sofa - high, to the ceiling. They are spacious enough, they found a place for all the necessary things. A round kitchen table painted in coral color, together with a lamp, as a whole, creates a cozy kitchen center.
Decor and Textiles
The selection of the decor was carried out remotely, they simply chose those trademarks that they trusted. The wallpaper was taken by the Dutch firm Eijffinger or the Swedish BorasTapeter. Materials from these manufacturers give the room a peculiar atmosphere, without overloading it.
Also, made to order made an LED panel, which emphasizes the elegance of the interior and serves as an additional highlight if necessary. We placed the decoration over the sofa.
Budget
There were no budget restrictions, but tried to stick to the economical option.

The object of pride can be the external ease of space while preserving in the room all the necessary items.
A few tips from the designer
- If you want to make white floors in your apartment, think carefully. If you have children or animals, you should abandon this step. But if you, nevertheless, decided on this choice, then he can drastically change the whole atmosphere of the interior.
- Do not be afraid of large drawings on the wallpaper, even if the room is small. With a competent selection, this way you can visually expand a small space.
- Not very dimensional apartment should not become an excuse for refusing to play with flowers. Instead of the usual white or beige walls, try decorating the room with soft bed colors.
